Project Details:
The current bridge served a number of private residences including farm business and had deteriorated over a number of years.
The work comprised of rebuilding and repointing works to the existing stonework, removal of existing steel edge beam detail, reconstruction of edge beam in mass concrete, location and propping of existing services, installation of steel parapet fencing and resurfacing of tarmac road surface.
During the isolated repairs and repointing work the existing water course flows were maintained using flume pipes, sand bagging and over pumping.
Whilst all works were carried out our operatives ensured that full access was maintained at all times including liaison with deliveries to the adjacent farm.
